Welcome to the Red Lion Bakewell

Jo and Paul welcome you to their historic coaching inn set in the beautiful market town of Bakewell. The red Lion has been welcoming guests and travellers since the 16th century.

The pub is furnished to a high standard whilst maintaining all the traditional charm of a country pub with oak beams and roaring fires.

We offer a wide selection of home cooked fayre which is complemented by quality draught beers and lagers.

You can eat, drink or relax in the two main bars both with log fires or enjoy a meal in our cosy 30 seater restaurant.

We also welcome small private functions and enjoy catering for weddings, christenings or birthdays.
